New Video for Carnivores - “Parent’s Attic”

This is the video for “Parent’s Attic” off the Carnivores‘ upcoming record, “If I’m Ancient”. Ross approached me about creating a video a few months ago. I bit, and the rest is history. I’d seen Crnivores play a few shows at the time, and I’ve since seen them countless times (do they sleep?).

Stylistically, it’s a video collage using live footage I shot of the band at the Big House and The Earl, overlaid with ‘debris’ such as film and video artifacts, footage of specs of dust hovering in front of a projector, stop motion, green screen footage and more.

Hi Glucose Mix

I’ve been listening to this mix quite a bit over the past couple of days. It’s primarily hyperactive dubstep with the compulsory wobbles, rap a cappella samples and occasional chainsaw massacre basslines. It gets a tad glitch-hoppy towards the end, with some Flying Lotus tastefully thrown in for good measure.
